I dislike the terms “the black vote” “the woman’s vote” the latino vote” – as if we are the Borg from Star Trek – just a mindless hive of beings connected to one another by some invisible wavelength of thought that directs our movements, our thoughts, and our behaviors.
I’m a woman – I am white by race and latina in ethnicity.
But I’m a Christian, too – and an American,
So my thoughts are going to be influenced – not by white people or females – they’re going to be influenced by the Spirit of God, by His Word, and then by my nation’s Constitution.
American media needs to stop coming at us with “Who will you vote for? Can the minority candidate count on your minority status to influence your vote?”.
Because Heck to the No they can’t count on my ethnicity to influence me.
• How does the candidate feel about the unborn baby and its rights as a human? That right there will tell me where their moral compass will guide them.
Respect for life in its most vulnerable form…
• What is the candidate’s position on the dysphoria with which our youths are dealing, from anorexia to gender confusion?
• What does the candidate think about the teachings of Marxism? Socialism?
• Does the candidate love the Constitution? Or do they think conservatives have a fetish for it as Joy Behar of The View (ungodly show) so vilely articulated?
These are the questions to be asking yourselves, America.
Not – “Well… Is my candidate the same color?”
You insult us – American Media – when you refer to our vote as “the ______ vote”.
You think you’re giving us relevance – but you’re really calling us mindless followers afflicted by group-think, and we are SO MUCH MORE than The Borg.
